Microneedling: Collagen Induction Therapy

Micro Needling is a skin rejuvenation treatment  that helps support the skins regeneration of collagen and elastin through a natural healing process by creating micro-channels in the skin. 

Ultra fine medical grade stainless steel needles are passed vertically across the skin creating multiple surface channels that stimulate collagen and elastin fibroblasts.

Q. Should I prepare my skin before having a Micro Needling treatment?

A. For optimal results results we recommend a period of effective active treatment cremes or serums such as Vitamin A, Growth Factor Serums and/or Enzyme Peels to allow the skins strength to be built up(especially for fine and delicate skins). Continue to use these recommended solutions and cremes after the treatment.

Q. How long would it take before I see results ?

A. Typically, you would see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4-6 treatments(spaced 3-4 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 3-6 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the  recommended post-treatment skincare regime.

Q. Is there any downtime after treatment?

A. Generally no, but you may experience facial redness and heat sensation for up to 4 hours after the treatment depending on the depth of the treatment. Numbing creme can also be available and applied. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.

We also recommend LED to also reduce any inflammation.

The treatment includes Growth Factor Serum to speed up recovery and Cooling Collagen Peptide Mask to minimise redness. The treatment is tailored to your skins requirements avoiding any down time post treatment. It is highly recommended to add an LED to this treatment which also speeds up recovery and reducing inflammation.

For best results it is recommended in a series of 4 - 6 and we recommend  for after care, EGF DNA Recovery Serum and Hydrolane or Repair Serum to thoroughly hydrate and plump the skin after treatment and to speed up recovery.
